The Hall of Gods can mean many different things, it may even refer to a casino. The mythology fan may think of a places like Valhalla or Olympus. A gamer may think of a less well-defined fictional construct. Gamer is used to refer to people who play table top role playing games and video games. It is not incorrect to use it to refer to people who like to gamble. It is just that gamblers are a considerably less nerd-focused demographic.
The Hall of Gods may seem like an ideal name for a casino as well. If the Vikings can come up with a place where the inhabitants prepare daily for the final battle at the end of the world, a hall where people play games of chance in the afterlife does not seem out-of-place.
The Hall of Gods Casino may not actually let people gamble in the afterlife. It does not even let them gamble on the afterlife. The only things this institution does is let people play games of chance for cash. The winnings a gambler earns can improve his chances in this world. If he wants to improve his chances in the next world, he should consider taking a remarkably different path.
